Stay down longer and get back in the water sooner.
Learn how to dive using Enriched Air Nitrox, PADI’s most popular
specialty course.
Emergency
First Response Course (EFR) & Rescue Diver Course
To
start with you need to ensure that you have CPR and First aid
training that is current within the last 24 months. If you do
not then the PADI EFR / CFC courses cover this perfectly.
Once
completed the Rescue diver course starts with some knowledge
development using the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and the PADI
Rescue DVD. We then cover the ten Rescue Diver skills in our
swimming pool. We then have four really interesting Open Water
Rescue scenarios where we will test what you have learnt from
the confined water sessions. These scenarios include dealing
with distressed divers under water, missing divers and unconscious
divers underwater.
The
training is hard work but lots and lots of fun!
Dive
Master Course
The
PADI Dive Master course leads to an accredited professional
level qualification that allows you to work as a scuba diving
instructor and to help lead groups of divers. If you are hoping
to work as a diving instructor or as a dive leader, then this
is the first step into your new profession. Once you have qualified
on this course, you will be able to look for a job as an assistant
to a PADI certified Instructor, helping to teach students on
PADI diving courses. Attaining accredited qualifications is
essential if you will be seeking employment in this field. After
qualifying as a PADI certified Dive Master, you will be able
to plan, organize and direct both training and non-training
dives. You will be able to work with both snorkelers and scuba
divers, although the Dive Master qualification does not entitle
you to perform as much independent teaching of scuba divers
as you can of snorkelers. PADI, which is an association for
professional diving instructors, offers a number of accredited
qualifications for amateur and professional divers who have
taken courses at recognized diver training institutions. The
Dive Master qualification is the basic professional level diving
qualification. The Dive Master course is an intense and challenging
experience that will allow you to develop your diving skills
up to a fully professional level. Taking this course is an important
step in a professional diving career. It is often during a course
at this level that the line between amateur and professional
diver is crossed and experience of leading a dive is gained
for the first time.
